Green Mansions (1959) is a romantic adventure film directed by Mel Ferrer, based on W.H. Hudson's beloved novel. Audrey Hepburn stars as Rima, a mysterious and ethereal girl who has grown up in harmony with the Venezuelan jungle, untouched by the outside world.
When Abel (Anthony Perkins), a young man fleeing a troubled past, ventures deep into the forest, he discovers Rima and is captivated by her otherworldly innocence. Their bond blossoms into a tender romance, but danger lurks in the superstitions of the local tribes and the secrets of Rima's grandfather.
