Fritillaires — Vincent van Gogh
Painted in Paris in 1887, Fritillaires is one of Van Gogh’s most exquisite floral works — a bouquet of crown imperial fritillaries arranged in a small blue vase, rendered with the bold, vibrant brushwork that was beginning to define his mature style. It was a period of transformation for Van Gogh, newly arrived in Paris and electrified by his encounter with the Impressionists and Japanese woodblock prints.
The result is a painting of extraordinary freshness and energy — flowers that seem almost to tremble with life on the canvas. Today the original is held in the Musée d’Orsay in Paris.
Printed in-house on premium photo paper with professional 8-color printing — vivid, faithful color with every brushstroke preserved. Printed on demand, just for you — no mass production, no stock. Available in multiple sizes.
