"Forniture Electriche" (c. 1900) is a stunning Art Nouveau poster by Adolfo Hohenstein (1854–1928) — the German-born master widely regarded as the father of Italian poster art and a leading exponent of Stile Liberty. Created for Cesare Urtis & Co. of Turin, this dramatic night scene depicts a luminous woman holding electrical apparatus amid a cascade of wires and lightbulbs — a breathtaking celebration of the new electric age.
