"Biscuits Lulu" is a beloved classic of French Art Nouveau advertising, originally created in 1897 by Firmin Bouisset (1859–1925) — the master illustrator best known for his iconic Menier Chocolate girl. Bouisset had a unique gift for capturing the charm and innocence of childhood, making his biscuit and confectionery posters some of the most endearing commercial art of the Belle Époque. This poster was so popular it was reprinted in multiple versions well into the 1930s.
