Koringa: La Femme Fakir

Koringa was the leading act for the Mills Brothers Circus in the late 1930's. They claimed she was the only female fakir in the world, trained in the art of sorcery and magic and born in India. In reality, she was French-born Renee Bernard from Bordeaux.
Written on the poster, the French translation is: "This Hindu child-woman knows no fear and controls wild beasts."
